I can attest to this, though there are limits. If my car is to be used as the measuring stick, it's -40 degrees (C or F, it's the same thing) when the battery goes "nuh-uh, not today".

I'm in Calgary too, X5d runs just fine without blocking the grille. Just make sure your t-stat is in good working order.

SCR problems as mentioned. Warranty extended on that but only 5k more miles I guess.

Mine's at 185k km, SCR done and only problem with it currently is a dead parking sensor.

My local dealer said they only had ZF8 stuff in stock last I checked. I could try the other one in the north end of the city, but that's the one that tried to tell me I needed a $15k cylinder head...
