Remember the fan clutch nut has a left hand thread. If your belts are squealing then consider replacing the belt tensioners and not just the belt tensioner pulleys. Good Luck.

I assume you are using an allen key head attached to a 1/4" socket drive to loosen them. That will give you a lot more leverage than an "L" shaped allen key. Yes they are standard right hand threads...
