Ive had 4 cars come in with exact same complaint as yours and all 4 needed amps. if i were you id look into aftermarket amps and get a performance boost outta it stereo wise.

i think its just a breather tube or part of the pcv system since it goes from intake tube to valve cover. getting those to clip back in fully is a pain sometimes.

Remove the oil level sensor, and drainplug, spray...

Remove the oil level sensor, and drainplug, spray a ton of brake clean into pan area and drain it all out, then try fishing around with a magnet around where you hear the bolt.

u can reuse the bolts, a 1/4 inch swivel e10 and extension can sneak under the intake and get that back bolt and an e10 or 8mm wrench will get the short front one.

Ive seen a lot of new X3s need key fob batteries rather early (first oil change usually) seems odd to me but i just put em in as maintenece covers it.
