Mein Auto: A BMW
Oh Yeah, now I know what the M-Sport version is. Mine (my wife's, actually) arrived on Sunday and I'm readying for registering it in MD. Really neat truck - 2017 with ~8,200 miles on it, loaded, origin is California, clean CarFax for what its worth:
- Ext: Black Sapphire Metallic/Int: Black Dakota Leather
- Executive Package
- M-Sport Package
- M-Sport Package with 20" M Double-spoke wheels, style 469M with performance run-flat tires, Aerodynamic kit, Anthracite headliner, Black Sapphire Metallic, M steering wheel, Multi-contour seats, Roof rails in High-gloss Shadowline, Shadowline exterior trim and Sport Automatic Transmission
- Lighting Package
- Drive Assist Plus Package
- Cold Weather Package
- Added Options: Apple CarPlay Compatibility, Comfort Rear Seats incl. backrest angle and fore/aft adjustments, Front ventilated seats and Parking Assistant
The truck has two small scratches otherwise it's near brand new. Haven't driven the truck that much. Thus far, everything works as desired. It's much quieter than I had expected, coming from a 2012 X5 3.5i. The acceleration at WOT is truly voluptuous. Though not as crisp as the 3.5i, this thing takes off with a nice throaty sound - instant grin on my face. I think I can live with it - my wife is going to find a way to peel me off. I also notice more cheaper plastic construction in the tail gate area and motor compartment compared with my 3.5i, but there's really no rattles to complain about.
A few pics are attached - may post more later.
Question: What options are there to mount the front plate w/o drilling into the bumper? I use the two hook on the 3.5i but this one seems to be more challenging, it seems.
