No Indicators/Blinkers, Dash Lights, Headlight Controls...

Hi everyone,

hoping you knowledgeable people may be able to assist... I stupidly left my windows half down on my car the other night and forgot, and low and behold, it rained... hard... the direction of the rain was mainly on the driver side (LHS as you view the car from the front)

The following day, I drove my car, all was fine, half way through the journey, I noticed I had no indicators... luckily, I had lights (Which I switched on at the start of my journey), but, I could not switch these off...

I removed fuses a few fuses (instrument panel fuses) which switched of the instrument panel, and then re-inserted them and this put the instrument panel back on, though now my lights appear to work light daytime running lights (DRL's) - which I didn't have before and also there are no lights to illuminate the speed etc. (though the little box bit on the dash with the mileage still works but is also NOT illuminated)... and the fuse box has no water in.

Everything else works (windows, stereo, BC button, steering controls etc.)

any ideas how I can get my light controls / indicators etc. working again?

Any help / advice is gratefully received...!

Zack

Would that not also affect whether or not I could see the mileage counter and also stop the lights from functioning altogether? Also, if I dismantle the LCM section and get some heat in using a hairdryer would it likely help the situation?
