Roadster Top Release Adjust

New motor and new module when I bought a couple of months ago.

About 3 out 5 times when I start the opening sequence the latches unlock and motor starts but I have to put the slightest bit of pressure right under the inside of the driver corner to get the hinge "unstuck" then it operates normally. The motor will just whine until I do but just the slightest little encouragement.

Any tips on how and where to adjust this?

Hinges might just need some light lubrication. There are a few threads on this topic, heres one:

Check the roller on the header part of the latching mechanism. One of mine was binding years ago. I unbolted the entire unit from the header (easy to do). Popped the small axle on the roller, addressed the binding and all was good afterwards. 30 mins tops.

There is a white plastic adjuster on the bowden cable that is attached to the red ring in the boot, if it is slightly too tight it can reduce the pumping pressure of the hydraulic fluid.
Its located on the u channel in the boot up in the left hand side, follow the cable from the pull ring.
