Looking to buy a E85/E86 Auxilary Input Kit - 82110142174

My factory / OEM Blaupunkt "Business CD Radio" needs removed for repair and seems
like a good time to install the above unit into the ashtray while the radio is out.

Been searching web and all sites visited so far show no longer available or on back order. (The later i do not believe.)

Does anyone now where I can buy one, even if it a "salvaged" unit from another car.

Thanks in advance for any information / source to buy
.

Your Better off finding a Dice Audivox Unit that will have the AUX plus other capabilities. It will attach to your existing Harness

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have searched Amazon, "Googled," etc. and the Dice Audiovox for the 2003-08 Z4 is no longer available.
I did find an alternative solution.
The same part code, but it is no longer the "kit" that fit into the ashtray area. It is just the cable that plugs into the back of the radio & can be ordered as either male or female connector at the other end.
I'll just drill a hole in the ashtray & plug into my iPhone.

OP: ASSuming you do find a solution, and if you're using a newer iPhone with a lighting-out port only, I'm using a lightning-to-aux coiled cable from Amazon with great success. You don't have simultaneous charging capability, but it's a clean solution that doesn't leave cables dangling all over creation.

OP, that aux cable is what I used for awhile on my Z4 with the oem Business head unit. Worked ok, but there was significant audio loss streaming music and the occasionally cracking and popping from the connector, so wasnt the best setup for me. I looked at aftermarket head units too but I prefer the clean oem look. Decided to try the Grom unit for BMW, which is a plug and play to the factory wiring in trunk. Huge upgrade, no discernable loss in audio quality and lets you control everything from steering wheel controls. Also, the bluetooth connects instantly when I get in the car. Highly recommended.
