Brake cooling intake

I would like to show you a pair of carbon fibre intakes I intend to connect to neoprene air ducts. The CF - aluminum combination looks nice I think. They finish is not too good because I had some problems with the moulds and the vacuum as well and had to do a lot of sanding.
The shape was chosen so that they fit into the space I had and also to make the mould easier to cover with the CF sheets, although it's not very effective in collecting air. The air ducts are 52mm in diameter, hopefully they will make a difference on the track.

I've managed to fit the air duct to the left wheel using 2mm aluminum sheet. The brackets may need reinforcement like for example a 90degree triangle to make it hold against vibrations although it sits firmly as it is.
The heatshield adaptor lets the air into the center of the disc unrestricted. It's basically a bent pipe so that the section area remains the same, only the shape changes gradually.
The hose clamp is aluminium so it case something goes wrong the aluminum sheet doesn't damage, but it is also riveted to the adaptor.

Thanks. I usually go a few times a year to a racetrack and do 1 or two sessions of 20minutes. The brakes get hot quite fast I can do 1 or 2 laps with moderate braking before a cooling lap is needed. Last year I've installed a set of EBC yellow pads with ebc discs and pushed them too much (after breaking them in) because I thought they will handle heat better and the fluid boiled. I didn't know when to stop. When they are hot they start vibrating slightly and that should be the signal for a cooling lap. Hopefully with this vent system the brakes will last a bit longer and wear slower.
