E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

A battery problem, like you described, can cause all of your problems. The dynamic drive system is one of the first systems affected. Wiser heads will be along.

Since you had to jump the battery, it is low on voltage. The voltage is critical to the control units, & must stay above 12 volts at all times. Measure the voltage at the jump terminal with the headlights on, & the engine off. If the voltage is below 12 volts, try charging the battery overnight. If this fixes your problem you are good to go, but if the voltage is below 12 volts a battery is probably bad. The alternator should put out around 14 volts.

Since the ABS light is on, check your power steering fluid to make sure it is not low. Pentosin CH-11s is the required fluid, & found at most parts stores.
