X4 F26 (2015 - Current)
The X4 is a baby X6 and shares a platform with the F25 X3. The F26 X4 is the ultimate combination of sporty and sports utility.

Good luck Chuck, I ran into the same problem here. This forum seems to have gone dead in recent months. Try posting over at "Bimmerpost". You'll probably have better luck there.

Good luck with your X4 search. I love mine!!

X3 M4.0i purchase.

Hi , I get my new car 15th July, can't wait! There is plenty about these cars on the internet with mostly good reports. Sad though as you can tell the writers that either like or dislike BMW , the dislikes you can soon pick up on .

I too have asked moderators several times to have the X4 G02 added as a separate section.
Got a email 3 weeks ago that it going to happen.
As of today nothing.
I agree this forum seems to have lost its bearings.
Yes, the X4 is a beauty.

I wonder how many other X4 owners look for a G02 section and then head over to BimmerPost. I keep looking....less and less. Maybe whoever runs this forum is an X4 hater?

I doubt it has anything to do with hating X4's. All sub-forums here aren't nearly as active as they once were. Whole thing seems, IMHO, to be slowly dying.

Well thats sad if its dieing , I was a member yrs ago with my X5 4.4 V8 then a X3 3.5i and got many helpful hints about both cars. Loved them both but the new X4 is a big big step up again! We must keep up the interest .

I would also like to see a G02 X4 area. This was always such a good place to get information

New X4 M40i

Hi had my new car since July 15th now. What a really nice, sporty and well made car !! I am even more impressed every time I use it. Talk about "GO" man it flys ! Only 1 or 2 minor things I am a bit disappointed with and that is 1/ The steering column and wheel adjustment is not electric so if you are driving and you want to set it right for you, you bring the lever down and it falls in your lap as it were ? On my Nissan Pathfinder I traded in , it even had electric adjustment.2/ Also the "M"steering wheel that everyone goes on about, I am a bit disappointed with in that it is so thick to hold onto it becomes uncomfortable I feel. I dont have small hands either after being a Motor Mechanic all my life so wonder how a women with there size hands would cope ? The rest is a dream , only done 2200 kilometers so far so haven't really given it a decent burst yet (195 kph) but wont be long !! I got the Flaminco Red and really love it. Mine came with the 21" wheels and no Sun Roof which I am pleased about as I hate them. In this country It cost me $120,000 NZ which I see is US $ 76,264 ? I dont know what you pay in the USA but I bet its not that much? But it will be my last new car so to bad how much its just a bit of the Kids Inheritance after all ! Its my 3rd BMW I had an X5 4.4 V8 2005 , A 2011 X3 3.5i and now this baby. All have been good just a few oil leaks and 2 Alternators with the X5 and the dreaded Electric water pump in the X3.

Report on new X4 M40i

Hi love this car !!!!!!!! Took a couple of friends for a run yesterday. They are still raving about the car and they are all car people I worked the last 10 yrs with at a Hire Car Co. I was the mechanic there but have retired now. The mechanic that replaced me came for a ride and the manager. Luckily we live in a very small town and we have open Roads all round us. The nearest traffic lights are 140 kilometers away Anyway I gave it the big boot in Sport Mode man did it get up and go. Talk about hang on , man it was out of this world !!! I took it up to 210 kilometres (about 120mph in your language ) but had to be a bit careful as there was a few other cars around. These guys were very very impressed , one said slow down a bit Jim !!!!! I am so glad I spent the money and got such a great car !!!!
