I sometimes forget that the BMW crowd may also be full of golfist... I tried golf but really didn't get it.. I get clubs those are useful... I remember when I was younger I had an older client that always wanted to make deals at his country club.. I was so out of place and uncomfortable there.. Its like the first time I walked into the local BMW dealership.. I do like hitting golf balls with baseball bats though.. They fly for miles..

Are you a BMWCCA member? You could go to your local meet ups. There you would already have at least one common interest.

The weather is very nice right now. I've gotten a lot done over the past few days, including washing two cars.

A person still needs friends out side of the family unit. And really its not been easy. For one its hard to find time away from the family. Two I don't generally approach strangers because I know I'm not the friendliest looking individual.. So it might be off putting to them.. I've got coworkers but no one I'd really hang out with after work... I think I may just need to move back to Oregon, but then that puts my fiance in my current situation... Hmm
Play sports? Just find what you have fun doing and go do that. So at least the people you meet have the same common interest.

I play hockey and have lots of hockey "buddy's" but some of them turned into really good friends. I also play golf which kind of goes hand in hand with hockey players. So I just asked all my hockey buddys who golfs, and then meet there friends that golf. You just kinda have to network your friends and find common interests and go from there.

And even if you don't play sports and you are into cribbage. Or chess. Or pottery or whatever. It doesn't matter. You just have to go out there and have fun doing what you enjoy and find people with the same interest.

Might be time to go to more track days, I like driving.. I've never had the money to build for concorse or anything like that but I generally love automobiles and machinery of all sorts.. I like most things artificial. So maybe I'll go to more of the cabinetry classes and things.. Just need to get back into my hobbies I suposse.

I use the Turtle Wax rinse-free wash if it's too cold. Or if I just have the car in the garage and it doesn't need to be washed. I've been known to wash the car just for the hell of it.

Nope, not until you take up 5 spaces 2 of which are meant for the handicaped. You park like someone who couldn't see the lines because it was dark and slushy in the morning.

Ha! That's what my cousin does with his brother's Volvo, only he takes up about 3 spots. He makes fun of it because it's a "pr--- car" (same reason he makes fun of my car), but deep down he likes it. Well, he likes the turbo blow off.
