Extended warranty

Just purchased fidelity platinum warranty as mine expiring. Is it worth it? As car is under 35k miles paid 3200$ for 3 years (I have a 2014 is35)Click image for larger version

If your call breaks a few times, it will be a good deal. It is always a gamble. I just gambled as well on a used M5 with 31k miles. I paid $7,900 for a 150,000 mile/5yr warranty through Ally Warranty Services.

It's great for peace of mind. These cars are very expensive to repair when they break. You bought an awesome car. I own a 35is and love the car. Be careful they are fast !!!!

I have had my plugs and coils changed twice while under 35k miles (thought they are covered now for 2 years) my cpo expires in 2 months but got the fidelity one now as car was under 35k miles (34800). Price would have gone up by 1500 if miles at 35k or above
I got the warranty from an Audi dealer (thought they own bmw also) as I called around and they had best offer for same warranty .
Just hoping no one has had a bad experience with fidelity

I had to replace my plugs at 36k due to a misfire condition. I also just replaced my battery. Also a fresh set of tire's. The tire's rft's are expensive. It's been a great car and I drive it every day back and forth to work. The car is a blast to drive !

I changed my tires and got Pirelli zero Nero gt. Big difference from run flats and much bette drive and was less than half of rft (paid under $800 installed all 4)

I think the extended warranty is definitely worth it. I got mine because I used to drive an e92 and I had tons of problems with it. The Z4 has an improved N54 engine but still had the same issues. Within the first 2 years of ownership, I had turbo leaks, transmission leak, and leaking oil housing gasket. Very low mileage and just drove it on some weekends
