Mein Auto:
4x4 & ABS light

Hi, I have a 2007 X3 2.0d, when I start the engine the 4x4 light and ABS lights stays on for about 3 seconds then goes off, it has never done that before, anyone has some info on this matter

On starting the engine, my BMW goes through a notification lights check to which I've never paid much attention.

OP: Get the codes read with a BMW-specific scanner, or INPA, etc., to see if there are known problems.

Replaced your TC's actuator gear and oil yet? Also, with the engine running (and preferably the front wheels off the ground), turn the steering wheel lock to lock a couple of times in case the SAS needs recalibrating.
