Center console's switch buttons???

Does anyone know what the outer left & right buttons are for? I can find info about all the other buttons...but the last two are coming up empty on google searches...as well as a download copies of the owners manual.

What ever BMW wishes. You did not list the Rear View Camera, one of my options.

...from some responses on other forums...it looks like these may be extra/spare buttons (at least on the e70). Thanks for the input.

There are no buttons. Top right and left are empty since factory. I have 6 buttons...except top view. Together there are 7 buttons...maximum.
