DME Communication Error/ Engine stops

Hello, I just bought an auctioned BMW X1 2010, but the engine keeps going off when in low speeds. I changed the plugs the other day bug the problem still persists. When its diagonised it brings up the error DTC: 2E1C DME Generator, communication. At times the battery goes so low that I have to jump start it. Kindly help.

Check both the battery and alternator. A bad battery can drag the alternator voltage down.
