Question 2005 X3 issue with the rear window rubber

The top of the outside rear window (placstic and rubber) is beginnin to fade and look bad. Will An armor all type product help with this? Really don't want to return it to the dealer for this costmetic problem.

...And if you do return to the dealer, they will tell you it's normal wear and tear. All rubber fades.

Yes, a trim dressing/protectant will help. Armor All is fine. Formula 303 aerospace protectant is harder to find but longer lasting. I personally like Meguiar's NXT Tech Protect, which is marketed as an interior product but works great on exterior trim as well.

Armor All is not fine. Don't use anything with silicone on rubber.
