Overheating Issue w/ New water pump, thstat and housing & bypass hose

Hey Everyone!

I have a 2010 335i Convertible, I bought it in Nov 2018. I just got the water pump replaced, thermostat and housing and a bypass hose that had broken last week $1300

I picked my car up from the shop Friday night, drove home with no problems. Saturday afternoon, I drove for about 1.5 miles and the car says its overheating and I must pull over. I was on the Highway at that. smh. I finally made it home (After stopping 4 times-turning my car off and waiting 15-30 mins etc.)

Does anyone know what it could be? The oil temp didn't read high, I'm not sure if that matters or not. I have about 93,500 miles on my car.

Hopefully, I can drive it to the shop Monday.

Get a code reader on it before any more real driving, could be a faulty pump, bad wiring, etc. Also check to make sure you don't have any oil in the coolant. Around that mileage a pretty common problem is the oil filter housing gaskets failing and mixing oil with the coolant.
