Did it start or did I have to call AAA?

Thought I'd post a little poll, given that we are in full election season. Difference is voting here is harmless and no one will unfriend you.

Here is the situation:
- 2012 X5 diesel
- Parked outdoor from September 24th to October 20th.
- Temps ranged from mid 40's to high 90's.
- Never started during the entire period. Not even unlocked.
- Not connected to a battery tender.

I was not sure whether it would start or not. So...
1. Did it start?
or
2. Did I have to call AAA for a jump?

Answer after poll; closes, I selected 1 day.

I see that you haven't voted that way at this writing. Still 9/0

Started.

I had a Ford F250 PowerStroke Diesel that would sit sometimes for several months. It always started. Always. The smoke signals of the successful start could often be seen for miles.

Wow, you guys are way more optimistic than I. I had my doubts that after nearly four weeks of sitting unused it would start, but it did. Like a boss I might add.

Here is link to video of the start, not sure how Bimmerfest will digest it.

I was optimistic yours would start; my '13 35i with orig factory batt sits for weeks and even a month at a time (without a tender) over the last 2 years and has always fired right up. When I drive it, it always sees about 50 miles min and is mostly driven on the hwy. I have been cautiously watching for signs of weakening but none really thus far.

Last winter, our X5 sat in a garage for a little over a week unused. Factory battery still. It showed signs of a weak battery, but it still started. Since then, I try to remember to put the tender on it, but I know I have failed a time or two and it has still started. In fact, the slow cranking hasn't returned!
