Mein Auto:
Hi, I have an bmw E36 that has gained a problem, everytime i turn the steering wheel full lock the horn beeps so i took the steering wheel off and couldn't see anything but when i put the wheel back on the horn now beeps as soon as i turn the wheel any ideas, I'm getting the jack points welded tomorrow to get an mot but can't mot it with that new problem, I've cleaned the and very fine sanded the brass spring and carbon pin and checked the wiring and all looks good the horns are connected and put a new fuse in

It has to do with the connection.. When you.push the airbag, it makes contact, and sets the horn off... Find whats making contact, uncontact it.. Or just get a mew steering wheel.

Mein Auto:
Hi its a non airbag model with a standard plain steering wheel, with a brass connection ring on the wheel, i put a multimeter on the carbon pin and it makes it beep and i put the multimeter on the fuse and it started burning so no clue what to do if it comes to it i will go with an aftermarket one and rewire a new horn

Ok.. The point was the contact.. The wireing is simple. Wheel, relay, fuse, horn... If you cant trace that to find the problem, your probably not going to be very successful at wiring a new one cleanly.
