Nope the anniversary credit would be considered the "drive event" credit they're doing this month I believe. Was just money off I got from the dealer.

My broker buddy said that historically the deals evaporate around the time the new models start showing up and then start up again before years end to try to have a strong finish to the year. Remember that BMW doesn't want to leave money on the table any more than we as individual buyers do. If they can sell 2016s for a couple of months with little to no incentives and lower residuals that's exactly what they will do until they have to start discounting to move the volume of cars they want to in order to hit their goal for the year. |

Complete lease noob, but reading up. Does anyone know the 48-month residual value for a 340ix at 10K/year, and money factor, or where I can find that information?

48 month leases rarely make sense, it pushes you outside the factory warranty and even if it were offered it would be a bad deal. Right now the longest published time for 340xi is 36 months 62% residual. |

I take it that is for 10K/yr. What is a ballpark cost for Lease Protection and GAP, and are they worth it when leasing? |

GAP protection is standard for BMW leases but will not reimburse you for any cap cost reduction, so don't do that. Only pay out of pocket for lease acquisition, first month lease payment and MSDs along with any dealer fees you agree to pay. I'm not familiar with lease protection but sounds like a poor deal to me. I don't do a lease if I don't have the full amount of all payments up front. If I hit a financial tough spot I would try to have someone do takeover of the lease. |

+1. Without any incentives, your sale price is pretty much spot on invoice. I believe base MF is 0.0013 for July - make sure you put any extra cash on hand towards those MSDs.

If you have the time and the patience by all means do the ED. You're probably looking at an Oct Welt pickup if you ordered this week. Depending when/where you drop off the car in Europe you could roughly expect the pickup the car around the holidays or shortly after. We got incredibly lucky and our redelivery only took 5 weeks.

Yeah I'm not in a hurry so waiting for ED is not a problem. Would drop the car off in Bremerhaven as Bremen is my home town. $1682 below invoice seems like a decent deal, then again ED is just so much fun too.

Can you guys rate this deal?
Brand New 328d 2015 Lease 10k miles 24 months MSRP: $45,230 Selling price after rebates: $38,260 Residual: 71% Drive-off: $4,000 (include 7 MSDs) No marked up acq or doc fees to be found here. Payment: $313 + tx I'm thinking this is slightly better since TMV pricing on Edmunds puts this car selling price of $40,293 and then I have Drive Team USA for another 1k so coming down to $39,293. What do you guys think?

Well all I was stressing on the monthly payment number all kind of fees rolled in and that came out to be
550 per month for next 36 months. As I plan to turn in the car after lease end ,did not care much about the residual or money factor and no security deposit. Thanks |
