E70 X5 M and E71 X6 M (2010 - 2015)
The BMW X5 M and X6 M are the first xDrive all-wheel-drive vehicles from M GmbH. The M variants offers the same utility as the regular X5 and X6, with the addition of the V8 M TwinPower Turbo, a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 delivering 560 horsepower and 500 lb·ft of torque.

E70 Drivers side mirror bad after water ingress

The drivers window got left down in a rain storm. The window switches quit working and I replaced the switch panel. Then the mirrors started acting weird, opened and closed a couple of times uncommanded. Finally the drivers mirror won't respond at all. I'm getting an error code referencing a LIN communication failure with the mirror (9CBA I think). I can clear the code and the windows start working but the mirror won't . Eventually the code comes back and the window switches stop again.

All fuses check ok.

I'm off troubleshooting. I'll let you know what I come up with.
