Do Not Use this one!

Here's why: https://youtu.be/Dm6Tq0nBQeU

Hi Everyone,

Today's video is about the Fumoto drain valve and how to install it on a 2013 F30 328i. This car is an xDrive and has the standard metal drain plug, so I'm not sure if it fits on cars with the plastic drain plug or not.

Be sure to double check that this is the correct drain valve for your car, as it may vary by year and car.

Thanks for watching and try everything at your own risk.

Thanks!

Bryan

Nice piece of convenience.

I tried them on my Lex and on my Victory. They work fine but drain slower than I expected them to. Not snail pace slow but slower than just pulling original plug. I would just change out the filter while pan was draining.

My big fear with this, more so on my bike than the Lex was smashing it on a high speed bump or curb lip. On my Beemer, having a lower ground clearance than the Lex, the valve will stick down further. My fear of smashing it on something is greater than the convenience provided by the valve. I'm in New England and there is always something in the road.
