+1. Your car should have pulled on that E46 M3 in stock config...

You'd be surprise as I was also surprise i didn't pull away on him stock but there are so many variables involve ...my theory is the E46 M3 ecu is different from the Z4m and at those speeds (start at 60 mph) aero dynamics will play a role and the weight being so close between two cars, the weight of the drivers (i am probably 50- 80 lbs heavier) but take away every thing else...
We did a pull, me being stock (dead even ) with the RPI scoops i pulled away (4x) ...Same cars same drivers...If i tested it on different drivers and different cars then that would have been different...I am not here trying to say that my car is slower or my car is faster, the topic is can RPI really do something that is cost efficient that would yield to hp/tq...basically i am just happy with Eloy (RPI) even considering doing this project as I know he's busy with other projects such as the NobleM400's, M5 and M6's, 335's, Saturn Sky and Soltice's and etc...on the dyno we got a 4-5 hp to the wheels on RPI preliminary testing and once Eloy do the necessary adjustments we should see some more gains....

Not sure about the scoop, but I'm definitely interested in the skid plates, before I tear up my air dam any further.

The scoops weigh a coupe ounces only so you wont even have to worry about weight. I was a little dissappointed with the numbers, as I thought we would see more of a gain than 4-5whp but we did only wait 30 seconds or so between pulls. Some of you asked about install again and those who were here Saturday saw that install is only a few minutes.

Skid plates are in the works and I should have a release date for you guys soon. We are having the plates set up on a machine so I dont have to hand make each one. For those who are local or do not want to wait, I can hand make them for now.

A couple of updates for you guys...

Since it was raining pretty bad today I took the m coupe and drove it for atleast 80 miles and it was pouring and the car performed well (i was thinking water might seep in but to my surprise it's pretty dry in there...so another win for the scoops!

And also I emailed Eloy this morning and I told him if i'll organize a grp buy for the skid plates if he's interested in giving us a discount and after alot of asian persuasion he said he'll do the SKID PLATES for $65 and since i got the prototype i want the real deal...so here it goes GROUP BUY TIME!

Skid plates....

How many are needed for the buy? I'll be in the States for the next two weeks, then to Amsterdam and back to Saudi.

Here are some pictures from Saturday's dyno test.

Remember, we dyno our hp gains with the hood closed and our products are always installed after the car heat soaks. Some of you were here when we did the initial test and saw how the AFR changed immediately after the scoop install. When the ecu adjusted, thats when we saw gains.

Talking

It's SO easy you just need to take out two screws from the bottom of each side and (Eloy) I'm sure will give out the necessary hardware and instruction for the install...the funny thing about the skid plates when i scrape the bottom before ( a couple of times) i as i know it won't be long till i will have to get a new bumper because of this scrapes BUT now when i scrape the front bumper i just and go along my business...thanks RPI
