AC/Blower Issue.

Hi, I was wondering if someone has seen this issue. The Blower Motor only works on high, which is due to the Transistor. My problem is that when I turn the AC on (Push Switch in), the Blower stops working. Would that be because of the bad Transistor?. Thanks in advance.

My 85 E24 has the AC Blower Motor gone. The only one working is the Heater Motor inside the Bonnet. My problem is that the Heater Blower Motor only works on high, which I pin pointed it to the Transistor right behind it. Now, I took the Heater Motor out and replaced it with the AC Motor, which it works but, the fan also works on high only. My question is, would I have to replace both, Heater and AC Transistors, or is it normally just the Heater Motor Transistor?. Thanks in advance.

Do you think your blower motor might have a short to ground wire. You might need to replace
the squirrel cage.

I had this issue on mine a few years ago. Went to Radio Shack spent less then two dollars. All fixed. Radio Shack is closed, but the resistor can
easily still be purchased. Good luck. Hotter days are coming.
