bought used e93 did i pay too much

Hi all,

just bought an e93 few weeks ago and was wondering what peoples opinion was on the price.

i have a 2011 e93 with 11k miles that i took for 34k before tax etc.

wondering if i paid too much or if it was a decent price. not mad either way just hoping to know since i am new to the bmw world altogether.

thanks

love the car.

I think that is a pretty decent price. I have been looking at the same car 2010 to 2013 and for that price the cars I have been seeing have a lot more miles on them.

I am also still trying to learn more about them with regards to those acuators (spelling) and rod bearings. Want to know how serious these issues are before making a move and am hoping to learn more about them from people on this forum.

Congrats on the car though man...I am jealous.

Congrats! Sounds like a fair price but even if you paid for an extra $1-2k, there is no substitution for a car with low mileage and/or that has been well maintained.

I just got one myself, 2008 e93 with 37k mileage, paid $25.5k. This is my 4th used BMW and many more in my family. My dad had an e30 325i coupe with over 200k (original clutch and no major repairs) and an e46 m3 (with the original brakes conservatively changed at 75k and original clutch at 100k miles). Now, that doesn't mean we can't have some fun!

for the price of decently moderately optioned Camry, you have just picked yourself up one of THE most fun cars in the BMW lineup. Period. Good job! Enjoy the heck out of it. It will not let you do anything other than that. Even if you have some ups and downs with it, who cares! So much fun. The most fun car I have ever driven

Based on the miles, I would say great deal. I also just bought a 2011 E93 with 42k on it, I paid $28K. Local dealer said it would have been on their lot for $32K.

I paid $29500 for an used 2008 M3 Convertible.
17000 miles.
One owner.
No damage, well maintained.

In my mind, this car will not depreciate if it continue with low miles.
