I plan on uploading the correct way how to change the low beam on an E36 BMW 1995 - 1999.

Welcome to Bimmerfest!

I moved your posting to the E36 forum where it will reach the people that can use the information.

I'm curious to see that was "wrong" with the instructions you've been reading. Having 4 E36s, I've changed plenty of low beams, and the instructions in the shop manual work just fine.

Same here! I'm interested to see too. A couple hundred thousand copies of the Bentley manual have been published. I'm certain they'll be happy to hear they've been wrong all these years.

I'm guessing OP either has a car with aftermarket headlights installed, or has Euro headlights that look different than what's shown in the manual. Either way, one shouldn't need a manual to replace low beam bulbs on an E36, no matter what headlights are in place.
