Battery condition? Get it LOAD TESTED, not just an analyzer quick check.

bmw 98 M3 coupe won't start

Hornhospital thank you very much. I was already charging my battery and has finish putting a new starter yesterday. The problem started after coming from work and parking my car I backing up to straighten my car the engine suddenly stop and won't even crank when I try start again so I have push and it run but after I park and stop I just won't start. Could I have a bad alternator and its not charging my battery. I just start the car and it start. I will check alternator see if its charging the battery when I run it. I can't run it right because I dis assembled a lot of stuff when I change starter and I'm in the process of putting it back together. Thank you very much again for responding you are truly a Bimmerolgist.
Thank you

If the altinator was bad, the car wouldnt continue to run with a dead battery after you push start it.. It seems sporadic in nature
You have a bad connection.
I suggest looking at the engine ground strap. If it becomes loose or bad connection, the battery does not charge while running, and likewise the alternator cannot run the system. And can lead to a stall after the battery is depleted.
