Asia maps (Korea) on 2020 US Spec X5 w/MGU ID7

Took delivery a few weeks ago here in Korea of a 2020 X5 with the latest head unit (MGU ID7) with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional (S6U3A).

Can I get Korean maps / navigation to work on this US spec?

Please note I am not talking about Connected Drive as I have pretty much given up on that due to what I'm told is differences in the cellular tech used.
I'm about burned out on researching this question and have read many posts but they seem to be prior to the MGU head unit.

Any help, guidance or explanation why this can't work would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, not so sure about South Korea but a few people I know here in Japan have the same problem after importing their BMW from abroad. The entire software in iDrive is language specific (although you can select UK English map interface) and dealers won't change it. I'm also pretty sure mine has Japanese specific electronics because it interfaces with the traffic information system etc.
