Looking for suggestions to replace/repair inside door panels for 1994 325i conv. Glue failed and panels are separating/warping. I tried pop-riveting with washers, but panels are still warping. Also looking for suggestion for kit to replace the carpet. Thank you.

You have to get EVERY SPECK of old glue off both surfaces before gluing them back together. The glue I found that works is "Shoe Goo". I actually sanded the gluing surfaces to get below the greasy-feeling black coating on the pressed wood panels. I don't know what that stuff is or why it's on there, but it effectively prevents glue from sticking to the pieces.

Turtle Labs makes a metal repair part that replaces the fragile strip that connects to the door at the top of door card. I've used them on my own car and they work great.

Glued on the door card using "Shoe Goo".

If the board is warping, spray it with a fine mist on the inside particle board. Let it sit for about an hour or 2. Then you should be able to pin it straight with aome rulers and vices. Let it sit and dry for a day. It should be the way you left it. See above for plastic retainer repair. I use loctite and garilla glue 2 part resin. Its held a couple of my door panels together for half a decade now.
