Replacement engine cooling fan

After 101,000 kms the car's cooling system is working perfectly but engine cooling fan bearings or bushings in my 08 525i E60 has begun to get a bit noisy particularly after a long run, so possibly there might be a replacement in my near future. I have been making some enquiries regarding possible replacement and have noticed that the OEM units are quite pricey while there are some very reasonably priced aftermarket units available. Would certainly appreciate hearing your opinions and suggestions regarding these units, if any of them are worth considering.

If TYC makes one, I'd use it. You can't use a cheapy, it needs to have the same PWM design as OE to work.

TYC does make a replacement cooling fan assembly, TYC part # 624290 which is rated at 600 watts. Also found a similar unit made by BAP (Buy Auto Parts)

Thanks for that vote of confidence. Rock Auto has the TYC assembly for $317.00 with free shipping within the US. Does anyone know of a cheaper source that that ?

Offering a lifetime warranty might be quite attractive for folks living closer to the supplier than me, so I'm really more interested in product quality. I did some research on both brands and am quite impressed with the TYC unit specs.
