X6 F16 (2015 - Current)
The all new 2015 BMW X6 is the second generation luxury cross over. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The F16 BMW X6 is build side by side with the F15 X5 at BMW's BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Read all about the second generation BMW X6 here!

Has anyone gone from a 535 to an X6

I currently have a pretty well optioned 535. Considering the X6 for several reasons. On weekends I run dog agility and carry a lot of equipment. The room in the crossover would be nice and easier to load up. I have also always loved the looks of it. I don't want an X5 as we already have an SUV and don't need two. Sharing our current one is not always an option for me either. I'm currently waiting on a quote to see if it's a fesable option for us. We both really like the car.

I'm in the same boat. I currently have a 2015 F10 535i and am looking for the right spec'ed X6. I love my 535 and would be fine keeping it, but if the right X6 came along then I would pull the trigger. I just can't seem to decide on spending the extra money for M-Sport or the Extravagance pkg.

I think it will depend on what the programs are for a lease. I currently have one of the 39 month leases and I'm very spoiled with what I pay for my 535

Same boat here with fully optioned 2015 535 with the 39 month lease heading into final 6 months. Got a quote for a nicely loaded x6 but the payments are steep. More than 25% more monthly on my 535. But I've always been enamored with the looks of the x6 and the x5 I had before just wasn't sporty enough

I won't pay these crazy prices. Sadly I think BMW may have lost our business. We have been driving a BMW for the last 10 years. Unless something changes before the end of the year, I will be looking elsewhere.

It was somewhere around $900+. A bit too much for me. It's not that I can't afford it, but I don't want to spend that much on a car.

What quote did you get on that car?
Mine was a bit different, but I think they sort of even out in cost. I didn't get ceramic controls, but other than that it's pretty much similar to my current 535. I think the retail on the one I wanted was around 83k

This is mine:
Alpine White
WHEELS19" M Light alloy Double Spoke wheels style 623M with all-season run-flat tires
Black Dakota Leather
Fineline Pure Textured Wood Trim

Driving Assistance Package$1,400
Driving Assistance Plus Package$1,700
Luxury Seating Package$1,000
M Sport Package$3,000
Premium Package$1,550
Apple CarPlay Compatibility$300
Harman Kardon surround sound system$875
BMW All Weather Rubber Floor Mats

BMW All Weather Rubber Floor Mats
MSRP about $78k
MY COST about $73k

so monthly payment is $1091 with 36 months / 12k miles and $0 down

thats before putting the 7 MSDs.

also apparently the bmwusa website doesnt have the correct options/packages for the X6 because its clearly different from the pricing guide posted on this forum. so she took some liberties to configure based off my build from the website. so im reworking my build with the new pricing guide posted here, but the numbers are going to be pretty close.

there are some ridiculous incentives right now though on the 5 series especially if you currently have a 5 series. i just got a quote for the M550i at about $78k MSRP for about $980 a month and that is before MSDs.

i havent crunched all the numbers yet in my caluclator but i have been dealing with this dealership and advisor for my last 6 BMWs and they have always dont their leases by the book so i am expecting that these will verify correctly after i put them through my calculators.

M550 might be the way to go, if getting a deal is paramount... though i really do want the X6 but probably not enough to pass up a good deal.

the M550 you can also get with non-run flats which makes saves on the eventual tire replacement

I was under the impression that BMW is no longer allowing MSD's. I think the quote I got on a 540 was similar, but have deicided that I don't want another 5. it would be my 3rd and I want a different car. I may look into an X4 M, but will just have to see what the November incentives come out to.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2016 M-Sport X6 and my initial verdict is the X6 has more driving dynamics than the X5, but not as much as my 535. It is great fun to drive and thrash around a bit with the utilitarian nature of an SUV. I will say it feels that the handling with the 20 rims is much better than the 19s. I am very happy with my decision. Life should be full of different experiences so, if you are still contemplating the X6 I say go for it! Good luck on your decision.

We are going to wait and see what the numbers look like for next month. We kind of have decided that the X6 is a bit out of our price range so may go for an X4. At any rate we have to see what happens with BMW leases.

If they don't change I'm not sure a new BMW is in the cards for us. I'm not sure what we would get though.
