Just bought Foxwell NT520 Pro, sending the NT530 instead.

I just bought the Foxwell NT520 BMW Pro from https://www.foxwellmall.com. Price was $159.95 shipped. I just received a message saying the NT520 is not made anymore so they are sending me the NT530 BMW instead. Do you think I will have any problems with the NT530?

Per their website it is the updated version of the NT520 Pro. Why would you expect it to not work?

Just wondering if it still has support for vintage bimmers like the e39 and e46. I guess I'll find out. Having a pocket sized scanner that I can carry in the glove box will be very useful.

And it doesn't see anything. It can't even read the VIN. This is for my 01 525it. My cheap ebay scanner works so I'll have to setup INPA to see where the issue lies.

Did you down load the BMW software.
That model is shipped without any specific software installed.

I did all of that but may have missed a step. I'll go back over the process. The scanner didn't come with a manual, just a quick start guide.
