Milwaukee / Waukesha Indy

Does anyone know of a good Indy shop in West Milwaukee/Waukesha, WI?

I recently went to one in Waukesha that I didnít really have a great experience, my friends all like them, but I really wasnít a fan.

International Autos BMW is my dealer, which are very good, but also very expensive.

It's been a while, but the ONLY indy shop claiming BMW capability, that I know of, is Dell's in Green Bay, and it's just like a stealership; expensive, implacable, and opaque.

Nothing at this moment, but considering the engine is made of Swiss cheese, I figure I need to be prepared.

Over the Christmas holiday I found a shop in Pewaukee that was able to find and fix my power loss issue. Battery, control module and IBS issues....

Nelsonís Automotive was extremely helpful. Actually took the time to talk with me about the problem and what he would do to troubleshoot then ultimately fix the problem.

I have used Urban Motorworx before, seems to be good. But it was minor repair anyways.

so no indy's in the area? I really liked Nelon's service, but it was still pricier than I'm used to...

Also looking for a good indy shop to perform throttle valve actuator replacement (both banks - I ordered parts from FCP Euro already). I've gone to Milwaukee Motorwerks before - great guys and reasonable rates, but it sounded like the havent done this specific job before. It seems that everyone wants to mark the $500 parts up greatly and therefore wont touch the job if you're bringing the parts in already purchased - even if OEM.

If anyone knows of an indy shop or someone mechanically minded who would be able to handle a job like this on the side, please let me know!

am I understanding you right that Milwaukee Motorwerks will do the work with parts you provide?
that is rare in my experience and would def. be a help in the right direction.

I have not brought parts to Motorwerks before so cannot verify that either way. They are good guys and their rates are super competitive - just a hike for me to go out to Waukesha from Mequon...especially with an S65 in limp mode.
