Buying 2017 M3. Anything to look out for

I had Carmax ship a 2017 M3 with just 2000 miles to my local dealer. The car appears to be a stripper but Carmax did not have a list of options on the car.

Things I know because I can see them in the pictures:
White
Cloth Seats
18" wheels
Manual
No park sensors

They want $58k for the car which is a lot for a 2017 with what appears to be no options, but this car has only 2000 miles. Is there anything I should look out for when it arrives? I am not committed to buying it yet. Are there must have options that I should look for when I am in the car? Should I be concerned about a '17 with only 2000 miles? Could it have been a track car? Is the price fair?

Could have been used at the BMW Performance Driving School in Thermal, CA. I'd try and find out whether this car still has the original tires on it. If it was used at the driving school, those original tires would be toast after 2,000 miles. Also, get the VIN and do a VIN decode search to see options.
This being an M car, they should have done the 1,200-mile break-in service. Take the key fob to a BMW dealer and insist they tell you who/where this was done. That may tell you everything you need to know.

Searched the VIN. It looks bone stock except for the wireless charging for the phone. At first I got excited that it had adaptive cruise (which is a nice add-on) but it is just standard cruise that is labeled with active braking which isn't adaptive.

Bone stock is fine with me as it comes pretty well equipped to start with, but Carplay, adaptive cruise, and park sensors would have been nice.

why would carmax "ship" a car to your local dealer for you?? I cant figure out the point in doing this- for you, for the dealer or for carmax.....

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

He probably means "carmax shipped the car to my local CARMAX dealer". Carmax will transfer / ship cars from one of their stores to your local store for you to buy it. Not sure what the cost is for it... I think its free if its within a certain radius from the carmax dealer that has the car, to the carmax dealer closest to you (for you to buy it from).

Never bought from carmax, but looked into getting a used car from them a year or so ago and found this out.

I have been to the PDC in Thermal twice in the past year every M4 is loaded to the nuts, they are all DCT comp packages with the 20 inch wheels removed and 19 inch installed. I sincerely doubt you will see a manual at the PDC simply due to the driver taking their hand off the wheel. it could happen but likely this car was not a PDC car.
