Any chance of getting the coupe seats in a cab via individual? Already considering doing individual leather and stitching.

Seats

I don't think so because the Vert has seats with the "Air Scarf" built in.

Yeah... Not something we are concerned with in Hawaii (I don't think it allows for cool air - only warm right?)

you're right, only warm air, there are 3 settings for that, each time you press the Air collar button, it lights up one mark, you can go all the way up to 3 lights which is the most aggressive

Air scarf is not a big deal. But are you really sure you want to drive around without any seatbelts?

OP...to be honest....once you put the seatbelt on....you'll never look at it again... I know they look cool but not once did I wish I had the seat belts with the M colors like the coupe does...sure they look nice at first glance then you never bother..

Oh it's not the seatbelt... I just think the seat design itself is ugly vs. the coupe/sedan. Ah well!

I may have missed it but the biggest reason they are so different, is because they act as part of a roll cage in the event of rollover. the headrest, front and rear try to protect your skull from smashing against the pavement so NO its not a good idea to swap them out. yeah they look a lot more bulky but if you roll it, you will be thankful...or at least one would hope you survive to be thankful

No. The biggest reason is that in the very, THE SEATBELTS ARE PART OF THE SEAT. If you swapped them put for coupe seats, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A SEATBELT. It boggles my mind that anyone would even consider that. WT absolute F?

Take a deep breath... then another. It's all going to be ok. It was made clear in the earlier post that the seatbelts are part of the seat. All good.

Hey,

+1

They are superior to the coupe in the following:

* Much more Sturdy & Very much more Comfortable plus...,

* "Comp. Pkg." - No ugly (sans Lumbar!) cut outs

* The neck Air thingy

* Still have the Classic BMW thigh extensions

Cheers!
