No Track handling package option on BMWUSA

I was optioning out a 340 and I noticed that there is no longer a selectable option for track handling package. Is that just a glitch on the website?

Looks like it's gone. I also don't see lane departure warning and frontal collision warning-it's hard to imagine they took those away. But they're not listed as safety options and not listed in standard safety features.

I hate the new bmwusa configuration tool. I have very little flexibility to configuring the bmw I want. Feels like it's built for Audi buyers

Track (ZTR) is on the 2018 ordering guide (top of board on sticky). I'd trust that before I 'd trust the dumbed down website. They redesigned the website to be smart phone-friendly, one decision per page.

In the southeastern U.S., the Toyota website diverts you to the southeastern dealers' web site and you can't even see options are available. You're only allowed to look at what's in inventory.

The poor design of bmwusa.com is so overwhelming that I'd say BMW of NA's consumer website redesign falls into the category of 'nobody friendly'.

SET is infamous for hijacking the Toyota Motor Sales USA build and price tool. Interestingly, GST (the other independent distributor of Toyota vehicles in the U.S.) doesn't do this.

SET and GST are middlemen, an element from a bygone era in Toyota's history in the U.S. market. TMS dumped all of their other independent distributors and brought their operations in house long ago. They probably figured that fighting Mr. Moran (SET) and Mr. Friedkin (GST) wasn't worth the effort.

Touring

BMW can substantially increase Touring [Wagon] sales by removing the Sedan and GT "options" from the "Build Your Own" [ha ha -- it should be called "Don't Build Your Own"] web site.
