X3 2018 M40i G01 Series Coding Parameters Cheat Codes

I would like to get a thread going for a known verified list of ESYS Programming codes for the 2018 X3 G01 Series Chassis.

To start, I can validate the following works: (Tested on 2018 X3 M40i)

Disable Auto Start Stop (ASS)

DME – 3020 – TSA_MSA_Memory - werte =
0 = Default
1= Remember Last Setting (Effectively Disable “ASS” Auto Start Stop)

*Must Code this with the engine off !!

Requesting:

Anything and everything Seat belt and or warning / restriction Related.

Bumping up this thread. Did you ever find how to disable the chimes and warnings?

Thank you, i'll give these a shot. many of them look very similar to the codes I am already familiar with but seemed absent on the X3 2018 M40i when I browsed the normal locations using Launcher Pro.

You are welcome. These codes are located in the ACSM module, with the G012 I found them in the first folder of that module. Search all the ACSM folders you will find them in there.

Those will not work for a 2018 G01. Functions moved in your updated firmware.

I searched all the folders, they were not found, no dice brother.

I did find Gurtzustandsanzeige_Fahrer, but it nothing.

Almaretto, are you saying this is impossible on a 2018 x3 m40i, that the engineers removed this tweak from the firmware from the factory ?? This is driving me crazy I really want to turn this off.

Thanks.

I'm going to start working on my 2019 G01 m40i this week. Here is my wishlist on what to code;

1. No more seatbelt reminders
2. Turn Signal in HUD
3. Max start-up volume for audio system
4. 1 touch tailgate close via rocker switch
5. 1 touch tailgate close via key fob
6. Windows continue to close even if doors are opened.
7. Holding lock button on FOB to close all windows.
8. Adjusting the angle of passenger mirror, it goes down way too far.
9. Find a way to control/moderate the digital display brightness, especially the HVAC controls during the day. They get very dim way too easily and adjust too frequently for my taste.

I'm going to create a spreadsheet of my work as I go and will share with the forum. If anyone has already achieved any of the above and can save me time/risk I'd appreciate a message.

I have already used the BimmerCode app to do some basic stuff;

1. Disclaimers Removed
2. M-Sport Graphic at start up.
3. Remove On Screen Display.
4. Disable ASD
5. Using expert mode activated Enhanced Bluetooth so I can read Emails and SMS, as well as dictate and send messages using voice commands. I had to do this because I didn't order the Wireless Charging/Hot Spot option.

Thanks!

My sole wishlist item is stopping the seat belt tensioners from activating when you drive off. I don't mind the "hug" itself but sometimes it doesn't let go (awkward hug!)

Disabling seat belt waring - this worked for me (copied from G12 post):

ACSM_5 > Gurtwarnung 3001 > Gurtwarnung_0_0_255 = nicht_aktiv [Default]
ACSM_5 > Gurtwarnung 3001 > Gurtwarnung_1_1_255 = nicht_aktiv [Default]

How to code fogs on with parking lights only?

Under BDC, go into expert mode.

NSW_EIN_AUF_LDS_STL = Aktiv

If you want fogs on with highbeams:
NSW_AUS_BEI_FL = nicht aktiv

DKOMBI2, expert mode, 3000 configuration, ALPINA_ENABLE

To activate VIM on NBT ID5/ID6 you need to code the following:
HU_NBT2 – 3000HMI – SPEEDLOCK_FREISCHALTMENU – aktiv

lane keep assist
CODING :
C:\Data\CAF\CAFD_00001C7A_002_240_003.ncd
SAS10
C_SWA_Vorhanden -> True

C:\Data\CAF\CAFD_00001EF6_006_028_018.ncd
HU_NBT_EVO
Spurwechselassistent -> Aktiv

turn off front window roll-up door interrupt (Auto-Up when door is locked)
----- BDC 3050 -> FH_TUERAUF_STOP_MAUT set to: nicht_aktiv
