Is this normal rotor wear on a car with less than 1000 miles?

Hi everyone,

I'm a proud owner of my BMW 2020 330xi, however I can't help but notice some abnormal wear on my front driver's side rotor. I first noticed it after the first car wash at about 200 miles, but I didn't think too much of it. Now after about 1000 miles, I can definitely feel the groove as I run my fingernail across it. All the other rotors are smooth to the touch. Is this normal wear and tear? Should I be concerned?

Currently waiting on a call back from the service center.

The darker colored rings are the grooves.

Not normal. They should be smooth and wear evenly as you described the other three. Looks like there is or was something stuck between your brake pad and your rotor. Any noise? The dealer should inspect and either offer to fix since it is very new or possibly sell you on a repair.
