nav updates

Any recommendations on where to get nav updates cheap?
The nav disc in it is original from 2005.
I don't need the most recent but something newer than 14 years old.

Its a 2005 x5 e53

The last nav updates you can get for an e53 with the MK IV navigation CPU are the 2015 North America maps. Like suggested already...look for the correct DVD maps on ebay or amazon.com. I highly suggest going to one of the online part database sites, enter the last 7 digits of your VIN, then go to the Nav diagrams and get the correct 11 digit BMW part nbr for the DVD nav maps you need..then SHOP using that 11 digit BMW part nbr.

This will prevent you buying maps that sound similar to yours but are for a 2005 e60 which uses a different map. They have the new gen BMW CCC navigation system....but your 2005 e53 (although built at the same time) is an old generation BMW using the MK-IV nav system. Both use disks...but different ones.

EDIT: BTW, the last iterations of nav maps for the e53 were also made by Tom Tom...so don't let that throw you either. You can see the last maps I purchased below...they were the 2014 maps I think were purchased off eBay:
