E63 power steering not working

5 Steering Issue
Hi gents
I got Error Active Steering Fault and steering alarm in dash board, some time power steering not working
Where is the problem I changed power steering oil and nothing happened....
6 series 630i 2005
Please any one can help

I am not sure what you are using for diagnostics, but the fault for the steering is marked as a safety fault, which will need to be removed from the module itself. ISTA will do this, but not sure if your diagnostics can enter the module itself? Try & disconnect the battery overnight, & see if the faults will clear. Have you been having battery problems, since all these faults are popping up. This sounds like your battery is low on voltage, it must stay above 12 volts at all times.

That's a lot of faults, +1 on the battery as low voltage will cause this type of thing, do the lock to lock steering reset after confirming the voltage is good then clear the codes, let the car go to sleep and then re-read them, see what you get.

Many thanks for your reply I just changed the battery to bosch 100AMP I'll disconnect the battery during this night and tomorrow let's see I hope it will work
