downshifting issues F90 M5C

Hello All,

I just traded in my 2016 F10 M5C for a 2019 M5C. I know the ZF transmission is automatic rather than DCT .

My question is, I've put about 500 miles on it and the car appears to have a downshifting issue in automatic, second setting when going from 4-3 and 3-2. It feels like the transmission disengages, coasts, then reengages with the rev bump.. Took it to the dealer on the second day and they said its normal and there were no codes It doesn't do it in the first setting because it downshifts directly 4-2. It is driving me bananas and I've already complained to BMWNA My F10 was perfect and I'm regretting the trade already.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is this expected during the "adaptive phase"?

Drive it and get the run in service done around 1200 miles, then see if it changes after the run-in service is deactivated. sometimes shift points/engine power/driving dynamics are different during break in to prevent damage
