E82 / E87 / E88 / F20 1 Series (2008 - 2014)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

E82 Light-Up Eyebrows Help!?

Hi Guys,

I need some help with my E82 Headlights, I have the non-Xenon Headlights which are all OEM, including the light-up eyebrows which can be seen in the images provided.

How do I get these to work?

I have read several things online however nothing is conclusive and everything suggests to do a non-OEM modification which I do not want to do as it may result in the BC (Board Computer) reading errors with the headlights.

Please Help!

P.S I have had a look inside and they are definitely real eyebrows and not stickers aha.

Thanks.

yes you can, it's in the manual (excuse the pun)
download a PDF of the manual,
it'll have the procedure
it's rather long winded if I remember right

When my oil level was a little low it would do that. No problems since 1/2 qt of oil and 1000 miles. Thanks
