Here's what the Snap On scanner came up with. I looked quickly under the hood and only saw one of the sensor, but maybe the other sensor is tucked under the valve body or something. Has anyone replaced these sensors before? It looks like they just unscrew and the new one threads back in. Then I reconnect the wiring and bleed the brakes?

I found them on Pelican for $133/ea. I may look around online for a better price before pulling the trigger.

Oh, on a side note, it passed the DMV inspection lane just fine even with both the yellow BRAKE and the yellow DTC light lit up. I was surprised!

If you're going to buy OEM, might try Sterling BMW Newport Beach, CA. Ask for Chris and tell him you were referred by Bimmerfest. Usually at least 25% off and low shipping.

I did replace the sensors on mine last year. It's better if someone depresses the brake pedal while you take the sensor off. This ensures that the fluid from the reservoir does not leak through the hole and you save time while bleeding the brakes afterwards.

I went the OEM route from an online vendor. They are not cheap, but we are talking about a safety system of the car. Then I bled the brake system, back and front. It is a good occasion to start with fresh fluid.
