Having problems with my moonroof

I've started having problems with my moonroof related to the functioning of the air dam that pops up when the moonroof is open. The operation has not been smooth for a while and now the air dam has detached on the left side.

Has anyone dealt with this? Is the air dam assembly by itself replaceable? I know that I can just leave it closed, but it is a feature I really like.

Thanks in advance

do keep in mind that closing the roof against a misaligned part...something out of place..something that results in binding...can break other very $$$$ parts. IMO I would not continue to use the roof thinking 'oh its only the air damn thing'... could bite you.

I'd also go through the TIS and see if you might be able to get it adjusted or fixed yourself.

This is for my model (didn't see what yours was), but I don't imagine they differ much.

If you don't want to mess with it yourself an independent mechanic would be better since dealers will push you to just replace the entire cassette. $$$$

In my case the pop up part, crap fragile plastic arm pass side broke. I have to push it down to close the sunroof, but I barely use the sunroof anyway.
I couldn't find a replacement part (s). If it's reasonable I'd repair it..

Thanks for all the inputs. Definitely looks like more than I'd tackle myself. I know a few body guys. I will talk to them or maybe do without
