[2018 X5 xDrive40e] How many miles are you getting to a tank of gas?

Hi everyone,

While my brand new X5 sits in the shop for the second time in a little over a month of owning it (check engine light again), I am wondering what mpg I should expect from this car.

The trip computer consistently says I'm getting 23-24 mpg.

This is mostly city driving in Seattle.

My battery doesn't last through my commute which is under 8 mi roundtrip.

On my first tank of gas I clocked just over 500 miles.

Curious what everyone else is getting.

Super helpful, thank you!

I am not able to charge at work at this time although that could change. I have a 3.8 mi commute each way so was hoping to do that on one battery charge. My issue is I have a couple of short but pretty steep hills along the way, and I think I zap my battery at that point so I can't finish my commute on electric only. Wondering if I should take the hills on gas, then use the battery.

11 mile commute each way. Charge at home and work. Previous tank was 1500 miles. This tank was 1200 miles. Over 3300 miles the car reports 73mpg.
