7 Series - G11 / G12 (2016 - current)
The next generation G11/G12 BMW 7 Series flagship forum. Unveiled June 10th, with production starting in August the 6th generation 7 Series comes in a light weight package with extensive use of BMW i carbon fiber technology. The interior quality raises the bar with a touch screen and gesture controlled infotainment system. Exterior styling has been a sticking point with mixed reviews so far.

2020 7-series order question—autobahn package and integral steering

Hello all
Looking to order a 2020 7-series in the next month or so.
Was wondering what people think about the autobahn package or integral active steering?

Thanks!

Must have for the car, I posted a few months ago on a similar topic, if you've never experienced it, then you don't know what you don't know, but once you get it, drive around for a few days with it, then jump in another vehicle without it, night and day difference in going over bumps, tighter turning, the package is 100% worth it. I won't get another BMW without it.

*Now when I drive and watch the car in front of me hit a bump in the road, and watch the car sway up and down violently, then my car hits the same spot and it feels like it glides over smoothly. It's pretty wild once you experience it.

I don't have Autobahn but do have IAS, and I would not order a 7 without IAS. In handling it turns the 7 into a 5, and goves it the feel of a much smaller car for turns, parking, etc.
