E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Remove Glove Box?

I have checked the TIS and removed the 4 screws on top of the glove box and the 2 larger torx screws on both sides of the glove box door but as specified in the TIS but the glove box won't move and seems like it is connected somewhere else.
Can someone tell me what I am missing?
Do I need to pull it down first? Do I need to remove the knee airbag?
I am trying to check the fuses in the glove box as my pass mirror adjust does not work. I suspect fuses are fine.
Thanks!
daf

you do not need to remove the glove box.

The cover in front of it pops out. Fold it down, then lift a the the bottom in an upward motion. You can release the front door of the glove box from the straps on both sides and it will lower for easier access.

If it's anything like the E46 there are screws that become visible with the glove box open. I imagine it's a bit more complicated than that on the E63/4 due to location of button to open it.

You can search BMW TIS for specifics.

I think you will need to remove the trim piece around the open button. I believe there are screws behind there.
