The diagnostic tool you have is pretty good for general stuff, but you should find the BMW specific software and dongle to use with a laptop. It will give you a lot more information and allow you to get much deeper into specific issues to better pinpoint the problems. It looks like you have your hands full, but all of this may be tied to 1 or 2 parts that you can replace and save tons of time and money.

Thank you for your reply,
I installed few software on my laptop but I'm a little confused with what is the right cable to buy for diagnosing, coding and programming.

If you installed INPA or ISTA, then a K+DCAN Cable is what you need to connect the OBDII socket to your Computer USB port, and the BimmerGeeks Cable at $45 is suggested more than any other on this site:
https://www.bimmergeeks.net/product-...eeks-pro-cable

Read the BimmerGeeks site info as to what is needed for certain types of flashing or other uses other than diagnostics.

I am NOT familiar with your Foxwell scan tool, but it appears from a quick glance at your post of readout that the DME (Engine Control Module) is NOT functioning, for instance 5th line says EGS (Transmission Control Module) can't communicate with DME. Also I don't see any indication of any code from the DME, either present or past. If your Foxwell has the ability to connect to the DME alone, try to get it to do that & see if it confirms that it CANNOT connect.

I would suggest trying to get the DME to power up. There is a separate relay that powers the DME. The DME itself activates the relay K6300 soldered into the JB as shown in this "Installation Location" link:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...i-lim/IROpqxeg

Here is the Wiring Diagram for the Relay:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...8-fuse/vFbq6N3

NOTE: there is a typo for the Connector at the DME; it SHOULD BE X60005; see pin #13 of Connector X60005, White/Gray wire in the 2nd diagram below.

Here are other relevant Circuit diagrams for the DME:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...l-unit/hqIOB9Z

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...l-unit/i0Xh6ut
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...l-unit/i6jSpwF

You have quite a project on your hands, and I wish you luck,
George

Thank you George!

I actually sent the ECU, CAS and 1 Key to the repair shop so they can test it but most likely they gonna get me another ECU and they gonna sync the CAS and Keys to the ECU.

Also I bought relays to replace
1 black for the ECU
1 black for the fuel pump
1 green for the wipers
1 blue (I can't remember for what)

I installed ISTA, INPA, NcsExprt, NcsDummy, WinKFP, Coding Tool and few more.

Please let me know if you have any sugestion.

I will keep you posted with all updates.

I bought a 2011 bmw 335ix coupe and that is my dream car. I just don't understand why I'm already running into troubles. I bought it with 56,234k miles I've drove it only 2,000 miles. Right now i need to change water pump, new temperature measure, oil gasket housing.

08- 335i twn turbs. Steering assist keeps going out. Showing brakes, DSC, dash lights. Don't have the codes. My mechanic clears the codes, & they keep coming back shortly after. This has happened 3x's within last 6mnths. Also after having a new steering angle sensor replaced. Is this common for this model and year? Any suggestions, besides selling it..

I’m assuming the person who replaced the SAS performed the necessary calibration routine and coded the part to the vehicle. These are required steps for replacing that component.
