My 40th Birthday - ///M Gift

So my 40th birthday is coming up next week (aaww yea, time to get OLD).

My wife, hates the ///M3. With a passion. She is not a car person, and this car has been the focal point of many painfully arguments (not shouting, we don't shout). Typically the result is her in tears and me frustrated. She would rather never have to drive a car (she hates cars), and would have preferred a $20k subaru wagon from like 2012. She thinks the money an M costs is silly and could be spent on better things.

So, she got me a birthday gift. A testament to how much she loves me, she found this item on Etsy. It's made really well (solid metal, think xylophone, except stronger). I can even hang it in the living room.

BTW, like 10 seconds before I opened the box I guessed what it was. She was like "how the heck did you know". It was a total shot in the dark, more of a mocking statement because I didn't think she would buy this (remember, she hates the car).

My wife is awesome

It's good too. We have half left, so I froze it in slices, and eat it. The fondant is meh, but the chocolate mouse is awesome. It's Cake Boss cake btw

It's been gorgeous here, brisk and sunny. When are you coming to Philly? PM me and we can try to get together.

She is a sensitive person. Wife isn't a car person, she hates cars. So to her, spending the kind of money you spend on an M3 adds to it.

Sensitivity is a good thing. I'd be remiss if i didn't ask how you like your ZCP?? Any advice Furby? I'll be ordering sometime during the Holiday season and my ears are listening. Seats? 666er's? Thanks for the read.

If you are buying then 100% get ZCP
If you are leasing, then you can skip it

Why the difference? Resale value. When you eventually go to sell your ///M, people will be looking for ZCP (you know they will) and if you don't have it - then your ///M doesn't get sold.

Plus, ZCP is a ridiculously set of features for the offering.

666 = I love the wheels. They are 20" awesomeness
Seats = I have a bad back, and drive well with these. I did ~1400 miles in germany in like 6 days, and didn't have problems. Also, it's a poor mans ventilation seat

Get ZCP.

Thank you Furby! Not quite sure whether i'll lease or purchase but feel 4 the small price i should tick the box. Not one to option out a Bimmer other than DCT/leather/Rear sunshade so this seems like a small price to pay. Thanks for the reassurance about the seats, much road noise with the 666'ers? Waiting for some Holiday incentives. Struggling with color choice but this will work out with time. Again, thanks.

Car comes with goup and electric pump, so no plans for spare and jack (i need trunk space for baby stroller and stuff).

I did buy winter set of tires, and am putting them on this Friday. So will fix the flat then

Thanks for finding it. Someone on bimmerpost was asking about it. It's pretty darn cool. It's very solid. All I had to do was re-tighten the hex nuts when i got it

In spite of the fact that it comes with goop and a pump I highly recommend the Conti Comfort Kit,

Isn't the Conti Kit essentially the same as the Goop/air pump?? Maybe i'm misinformed. Wonder if BMW or Bavarian is stocking a Spare/Jack set...Hmmmm. Thanks ca.
