I'm about to pull the trigger on this lease, but I'd love some feedback.

2016 340i M-Sport + Track Handling
36m/12k
MSRP: 59,875.00
Selling Price: 55,258.00 (750 below invoice)
Tax: 1,723.72
Fees: 405.27 (Doc Fee 169.27, License 101.00, Title 95.00, CVR/Filing Fee 25.00, Vehicle Tax 15.00)
Base MF: 0.00137
Residual: 65%
7 MSDs @ 4,900.00
Monthly Payment: 651.38
Due at Signing: 5,956.65

I was a little surprised the monthly was so high, but the tax is included in that. I'm going to ask if I can just pay that upfront instead of having it rolled out. Also, I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm in Illinois.

There are threads on this very subject if you search for it in the F30 forum

Looks decent but I think the MF is marked up a touch. Maybe worth $1,000 or so over the life of the deal, so net you are getting about a $250 over invoice deal which is still pretty good.

Wouldn't hurt to put the thumb screws to them and see if they'll come down on the MF.

Base Mf in July was .00137... is it lower in august?

Residual is not negotiable, it is set by BMWFS for the given mileage.

They told me I had the base 0.00137 MF and it was reduced to 0.00088 with the MSDs. I haven't seen that exact figure on paper, but they wouldn't lie to me about the MF, right?

What would asking for more miles change?

Mein Auto: 2016 340i M Sport
Picked up my new car last night. Anyone wanna rate this deal?

2016 340i M Sport, Estoril Blue + Coral Red Interior, M Sport package, M track package, Technology package.
Sticker was 59K.
Selling price was $51,882. ($4k under invoice I believe.)
36 Month Lease
66% Residual
.00088 Money Factor (After 7 MSDs)
1,000 Loyalty Cash Rebate.
Total Out of pocket drive off was $5500 with all fees, $3100 was MSD's.
Monthly payment after tax is around $427.

Was this the deal of a lifetime? Everywhere I'm seeing people are paying between $550-$700 a month for this car. Do you think they needed to get rid of it because the 2016's are coming in?
For reference, this was in southern california and the car was on the lot for 60 days. I'm assuming it was a custom order from a customer who either cancelled or never showed up.

thats an amazing deal! The numbers don't add up though. I'm getting around $440 before taxes. How'd you manage to get it so low?
Edit: was the 1k cash rebate deducted from the selling price?

This is pretty much the definition of the "deal of a lifetime" on the selling price, provided the car was brand new and not a demo. I am guessing you caught the right car at the right time, since it was an aging car on the lot.

Its pretty easy to see that this was a custom order that someone backed out on, because a dealer will almost NEVER order a "superman" BMW (estoril over coral red). The market for that car is quite small, and they saw you as someone who would take it off their hands and made you a deal to do so.

I am not a fan of that color combination because it looks to "child like" for me. but dont take that to mean I am slamming it. As our beloved Ninong used to say, there is a buyer for every car, and there are plenty of people on these boards who have configured one that way.

Valencia BMW. I was honestly shocked they were so nice. I've been ****ed over by dealers so many times with promises and a hidden catch. They literally gave me what they promised on the phone. There was only 1 small drawback to the car, no back up camera which I didnt realize. So I told them and they took another $300 off the selling price. At the beginning I asked for under $500 with 2k total down. Then when I got there I asked about the MSD's. The MSDs + the $300 off cut the payments from 497 to 427.

The funny thing is, if I were to order one. This is the exact color scheme + options I would order, except I'd add a back up camera. But still, I'm ecstatic, its such a beautiful car. I'll try to get some pictures up for you guys soon.

That is a killer deal for sure and congratulations. It was definitely a special order for someone, since that is the only way you can get Estoril Blue.

trying to work out a deal
Dealer keeps quoting me a monthly payment "including taxes" . However, if i'm already paying taxes upfront, that monthly payment shouldn't include taxes, correct?
